Last night, inspired by British achievements in the velodrome, my dear girlfriend handed me a portrait of me that she had drawn. At least, I assume she was inspired by those achievements, as she was laughing so much that it was hard to make out actual words. This morning I have inked and coloured her pencil portrait so you can experience what was, for me, a deeply touching moment - IN ULTIMATE CLARITY. It’s exciting to know that should I be vapourised or crushed during the course of the next few weeks, the parameters of my adonis-like physique will be preserved for the ages by this diagram.
